Commitment with future generations

Education of children is a fundamental factor to change the context of human development. For this reason, for more than 10 years, Agrokasa, together with the Apoyo Institute, have joined forces to provide tools to students and teachers in Ica through the “Matemáticas y Comunicación para todos” (Mathematics and Communication for all) program.
The new scenario, product of the pandemic, was a great challenge since went from a physical style to a remote one with the challenges and considerations of its own for both teachers and parents as well as students.
Support was provided with access to virtual libraries, forums, pedagogical support, training modules and digital material. As a result, a high percentage of the teachers who participated achieved a satisfactory level during an evaluation and were certified.

Cream of asparagus

Asparagus is an important source of vitamins and vegetable oil for our body and it must be included in a balanced diet.
We share with you our recipe to prepare a delicious asparagus cream.

• 1 kilo of fresh asparagus (without the fibrous end)
• 1 pore (chopped white part).
• 1 large onion (chopped).
• Drops of lemon juice to taste.
• ½ tablespoon of vegetable oil.
• 2 butter spoons.
• 4 cups of chicken broth.
• ¾ cups of evaporated milk.

First, we cut the asparagus into small pieces.
In a pot, over low heat, add the vegetable oil and add the butter so that it melts.
Add the chopped onion and leek, cook until tender. Then, we add the asparagus and let it cook for five minutes.

Add the chicken broth and wait 20 minutes until the asparagus are well seasoned to taste with salt, pepper and / or cumin.
Next, we remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
We liquefy the contents of the pot so that a cream is obtained and we return it to the container. We proceed adding the evaporated milk.
If we want a less thick cream, add more chicken broth, along with an additional tablespoon of butter and lemon drops, and then boil for a few minutes.
Finally, if we want to decorate the dish, we can cook the tips of the asparagus in salted water for 5 minutes, then serve and add them.


Stuffed avocado

Avocado provides very important minerals to our diet (iron, zinc, magnesium and calcium) as well as vitamins and natural fats. Its soft and creamy pulp make this fruit one of the favorites of Peruvian cuisine.

We share an easy and simple recipe to prepare:

• 2 ripe avocados.
• 1/2 lemon.
• Salt and pepper to taste.
• 1 cup of cooked and shredded chicken.
• 1 tablespoon of onion, diced.
• Two to three tablespoons of mayonnaise.


First, we cut both avocados in half, remove the seed, and peel them completely.
Then, in a bowl, we place the shredded chicken and proceed to mix together with the chopped onion, mayonnaise, salt, pepper and squeeze the lemon.
Ready the mixture, fill the avocados and serve.
Optionally, it can be garnished or served with sliced tomatoes and oregano leaves.
